powerbox keeps rebooting connected devices

Once i get clients connected to the rocket M5 it starts rebooting it. What do i need to try. I have it set to long cable and even tried turning off the other 2 rockets but that didn’t help. Thanks

i have been watching the poe interface and it ranges from 14 to 20 volts and occasionally flashes off. it goes off every couple of minutes

does no one have an answer it doesnt appear to be drawing too much power on the poe ports please any advice would be wonderful thanks in advance

i have tried wiring 2 24 volt power supplies together and i still end up with the same voltage issue so its not a power issue

Two supplies in parallel will not help. Use one good supply with enough output current rating.

Hello Illini,

How long is poe-out ethernet cables?

I have seen this problem as well. Not my installation, I only monitored it when there were problems.
Unclear until now what is happening and what is the cause. I have suggested RF interference and asked them to place ferrite clamps, but this is not yet done.

Observable evidence: with page of ethernet interface on WebFig open you see the voltage and current of the port.
Current is varying wildly. Usually it is now but sometimes it peaks very high, overload is displayed and port is temporarily powered off.

Started happening when Rocket M5 was added to an install that had a M5-400 and an SXT already (and worked ok).
