Powering netPower Lite 7R with Ubiquiti 54V POE injector

I guess I do not understand the power requirement (limitation) on the netPower Lite 7R. I have attempted to power it with a Ubiquiti 54V 80W injector and it will not power up. The power light on the injector flashes. is this because the injector provides 4 pair powering and not 2 pair?

Very likely yes, the netpower accepts only passive PoE and usually Mikrotik uses mode B only.

yes, verified by making up a special cable with just pins 4,5,7 and 8

was hoping to be able to power a POE camera on the single POE out port but scratch that!
