i just want to know if a Wlan poynting antenna 2.4ghz would connect to a mikrotik Ap.
i want to know before i buy the poynting antenna.

If it is truly a 50 ohm 2,4 GHz antenna then you are fine. Manufacturer of it is not that important.

Buy 2x 711 boards and a 5GHz enclosure with antenna..

it’s better 5ghz.

Poynting has one with 19dBi antenna..
