pp diali in server - modem not answering

Hi there,

I tried to start a dial in server using two external modems, but the modems simply did not answer the incoming calls.

I have set the ring-count to 1. The modem shows the A light, that means the phone line is ringing, but the modem somehow does not aswer the phone.

Is it because the modem is not able to detect the ringtone ??

If it is so, can someone tell me about the init string i should use to make the modem asnwer the incoming call.

Ask Google for model-specific init string for your modem

it would be helpful to know the modem type and vendor;-)
most modem use at commands, so at &fx3s0=1 should work as a starting point.
