PPP Client to Ether1 transparent bridge

I’ve got a usb modem connected to the usb port of my 751U. It is configured as a ppp client interface and connects successfully to the internet. I’d like to create a transparent bridge from this ppp client interface to ether1. If I create a bridge interface, I can’t add the ppp client interface to the bridge.

Is this possible? If so, how?

Why are you wanting to bridge this interface?

Why not? There are other products that allow you to do this, but I don’t want to use other products. I would rather do it with a mikrotik because mikrotiks are superior products.
