I have two Mikrotiks connected between one L2TP VPN.
On the PPTP Client I have marked the Dial on demand option. But when a computer on the office which the Mikrotik it’s configured as Client does a ping or other action the VPN it’s not dialed automatically. But If I connect to the Mikrotik and I do a ping the VPN it’s dialed perfectly.
I don’t need the VPN to be always running, and the communication usually it’s only in one way.
After this the computer could do whatever he wants because the VPN it’s up.
