On all releases, including 6.42.7, an additional Interface “l2tp- *” is sometimes created. For example:
I’ve created PPP-Secrets with the name “KKK” on my head Mikrotik. In the PPP-Interface, an interface is created with the user “KKK”. When a remote Mikrotik accesses the head using an authorization called “KKK”, usually on the head Mikrotik in the Interfaces tab the status of the “KKK” interface becomes Running. But sometimes, once in 20-50 connections, on the head Mikrotik the interface status is not defined as Running, but instead an additional interface is created. And it is present until the connection between Mikrotiks breaks, or I can manually delete the interface , and then after the new connection, the “KKK” interface with Running status is activated again.
The connection is established only by the l2tp protocol without IPsec. This is rigidly spelled out both on the head Mikrotik and on the remote one.
Very inconvenient, because I need to monitor the state of the PPP connection with the remote Mikrotik. Now we have to abandon the analysis of the status of the interface “KKK”, but instead simply send PING to a remote router.
What could be the problem?

Когда удалённый Mikrotik обращается к головному, используя авторизацию с именем “KKK”, то обычно на головном Mikrotik в закладке Interfaces статус интерфейса “KKK” становится Running. Но иногда, один раз в 20-50 соединений, на головном Mikrotik статус интерфейса не определяется как Running, а вместо этого создаётся дополнительный интерфейс . И присутствует он до тех пор, пока связь между Mikrotiks не разорвётся, либо я могу вручную удалить интерфейс , и тогда после нового подключения опять активируется интерфейс “KKK” со статусом Running.
Соединение устанавливается только по протоколу l2tp без IPsec. Это жёстко прописано и на головном Mikrotik и на удалённом.
Очень неудобно, т.к. мне нужно мониторить состояние подключения PPP с удалнным Mikrotik. Сейчас приходится отказываться от анализа статуса интерфейса “KKK”, но вместо этого просто отправлять PING на удалённый роутер.
В чём может быть проблема?
