PPP Secrets - Network as Caller ID?

Hi all,

I noticed that I can only fill a single IP address as caller ID in /ppp secrets, not a network.
I have some secrets configured that I need to restrict to be able to connect from a specified network only.
I.e. I’d like to set the Caller ID to 1.2.3.0/24 instead of 1.2.3.4.
I tried it with 1.2.3.0/24 - which I am able to enter, but when the client tries to connect from 1.2.3.4 it is rejected with
<96> user xyz called from 1.2.3.4 but was expected from 1.2.3.0/24

Is there a way to accomplish this?
