pppoe and quota

hi all

we use pppoe connection and can limit user’s speed but …

the problem is :
we can not set user quota as when we set it user can easily disconnect then connect again and get a new quota ..


any ideas ??

and by user quota you mean…? Data limit? Time limit?
If you’re keen on implementing those i suggest you setup radius server…mikrotik user manager may be a good start!?

If its to limit amount of data: /ppp secrets
If its to limit data rate: /ppp profile

Data rate can also be limited using queues.
