PPPoE and WDS

Is there any way to setup the following…

I have two access points, AP1 and AP2. AP1 runs a PPPoE Server. I need all users connecting to AP2 to be able to authenticate with the PPPoE server on AP1. I have setup the PPPoE server to use wlan1. I have tried using WDS, and the two APs link perfectly. If I connect to AP1 I can authenticate. If I connect to AP2, the PPPoE client times out. If I set the PPPoE server to run through wds1 is does not work whether I connect to AP1 or AP2.

Unfortunately for this client a RADIUS server is not an option.

Any suggestions?

I basically setup each wlan interface as an AP/Bridge and enabled dynamic WDS. I then bridged the wds and wlan interfaces on each AP config, and set this bridge as the default-wds-bridge. No matter which AP I connect to the PPPoE client authenticates.

Admittedly I am testing this on a single RouterOS system with 4 wireless cards (only two used). Will test it tomorrow with two systems.
