PPPoE cannot used in 8186 based AP

Hi, I’m trying to use PPPoE client in Realtek 8186 based wi-fi ap, actually ap is connected mikrotik router with cable in WAN port of 8186 device.
The problem is it cannot connect PPPoE server,
Also I have tried to connect with my PSP by choosing PPPoE type conneciton.
I also tried PPTP Server and client but it still cannot connect.

Is there any way to connect mikrotik’s PPPoE and PPTP server from Routers and other devices(I guess except mikrotik and win,linux computers it is unable to connect it)

check what PPPoE features that thing supports, and configure the AP accordingly. Maybe it doesn’t support encryption or something like that

as far as i know realtek 8186 based chips does not support ppoe client, arent these the aps with “5-in-1” :confused: supports ap , ap client, wds, universal repeater and so on…
