first of all i’d like to know if it’s matter when “ether1” doesn’t get the expresion “ether1-gateway”? I ask this because when i configure a pppoe client on rb750GL, the pppoe client runs only if the interface is “ether2-master” and not “ether1” (my isp modem is connected to LAN1).
second, what does it meen ARP: arp-proxy or enabled. what is the role of the ARP that is configured on the ether1, ether2?
