pppoe client connect can't browse

Hi all,

just installed MT on a box for the first time. I configured pppoe server as the tutorial on mikrotik page shows. I connected as a pppoe client from a Windows XP pc. I got IP address:

192.168.10.71/32

I am not able to ping the MT box (192.168.10.1), and I am not able to browse.

Seems like I am missing something in my configuration.

I have enabled IP scrnat on my outgoing interface (i tested it working before creating PPPoE server - connected as normal LAN user).

Please to help me to find the right configuration!

Do you have a local IP set for the PPP secret? Or did you bind the IP address to the PPPoE interface?

post your firewall/nat rules, PPPoE configs, and routing tables.

Use the export command to post your “running-config”.
