I have a MT installation with a rb532a, 1 cm9 and 1 sr5. cm9 make the backhaul, sr5 make distribution.
On sr5 I have 1 splitter 4 way and 4 sectorial 17db antenna connected.
After the upgrade of mikrotik to 2.9.46 (I don’t know if is a coincidence) I see tha my customers radio PPPoE client (some OSBRIDGE an some RB133c(linkit chr500F) disconnect but still remain the client wireless association…
This disconnection happens in group of 5-10 customers (the others have no problems).
WHY?
I’m going slightly mad!
Check the CCQ signal value in each registered AP, perhaps your signal strength is good, but your CCQ is low (Signal quality), this value must be higher to 40 for be an acdceptable quality.
Example:
Good CCQ: 60 - 100
Bad CCQ: < 40
Check this too…
http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Wireless_Debug_Logs
it is 41!!!
can you please explain me how can i increase this value?
could a filter help to solve the problem?
THANK YOU
Use quality connectors and cables, check your data rates, basic rates, TX power, and noise floor, configure these values according to your minipci card.
Hi ;
I am using Atheros AR5413 mini pci card with my MT 2.9.27 .
recently i am facing many disconnections for some clients per day in the wireless connection and the pppoe connection .
I am thinking the problem is thewireless card , i am using 5 Watt Alcon amplifire B mode with the system and the OMNI antenna not high .
today i removed the searge protector from the cable and i think there is some improvement .
i will monitor the CCQ level at the server for my wireless card and at clients side .
i activate the debug logging , many thanks for the information you provide .
i will back soon for this case .
with best regards .
