Ok over the last few days, our 2.9rc6 server has had major issues with its PPPoE-Client connection to our ADSL provider.
About 5 times the interface has stopped working, and when trying to disable/enable the interface via winbox their has been a message saying something like “Not Implimented” or similar. Sometimes you can disable it, and re-enable, but the PPPoE-client connection does not come up again.
Normally a restart fixes the problem, but today a restart caused the Interface to disappear completely, and we had to re-add the interface. The problem is just getting worse, and it seems we cant manage a stable connection for more than a few hours now, but has previously operated for weeks without any issues at all.
We are using a standard PC box, with an IDE flash module.
Any ideas?
