you’d think this would be easy to setup… but its not.
i am dedicating a full routerboard to be a pppoe client for my home network.
i’ve setup pppoe client with the proper username and password
i’ve enabled NAT masquerading
and i’ve setup a small dhcp server.
the only problem is it sits there saying “Waiting for packets” and it never dials out!!!
is there some step i maybe missing?
this is my core setup on most MT’s whatever release and board type. it works good.
do leave ‘service’ blank
do leave ‘ac name’ blank
nat on pppoe-out interface.
let me know if you need more help
