Hi all,
I’ve set up my RouterBoard and bind a pppoe interface for my DSL connection to ether1-gateway interface (which is my eth0 port).
My question is that in the system log, I can see that even when eth0 is down (cable pulled out by intent), the system is trying to initializing pppoe, dialing and terminating.
Is it normal, or is it a bug?
The system should not make pppoe dialing when the physical interface has no link…
It seems that I can only use script to detect and disable pppoe manually if the physical link is down?
