I have porblem with pppoe-client, with each change of public IP addresses
are gone happening, you can not connect with MT winbox and the internet does
not work! connect with telnet configuration and verify all looks good to me,
has a foreign IP address, but nobody can not go on the Internet! when you
reboot the MT then everything works well until the following changes to
public IP addresses (every 24h)
Everything worked well on 2.9.46 is now 3.11, and this creates a problem
nobody knows we do not say what is happening and how to repair it!
Not quite sure your config. But if you are using a public address pool and it is on the same subnet as the Internet side of the link then you will need to turn on “proxy-arp” under the interface/bridge on the Internet side. Otherwise, you would actually need two seperate subnets. This also stumped me my first time setting up a PPPoE server with public addresses.
