Hello! i´m a newbie user of one RB450G!
it’s my first mikrotik routerboard.
i am with very difficult to make a pppoe conection with a briged adsl modem!
in my many tries i have conected to provider and i not have internet, now i have conected my RB450G to other router and it works fine, but in pppoe conection nothing…
anybody can help me?

note: my routeros is the new 5.03beta
Mikrotik:
DHCP client on WAN interface, PPPoE client too.
Modem:
Be sure it is in simple modem (bridge) mode, DHCP client off (so it doesn’t use the only IP you have right on) and PPPoE off.
Before restarting the line, put the same MAC adress you were using in your PC to the Mikrotiks WAN interface (look for MAC clone here in forum), or else it is possible you will need to wait hours for new IP. Then monitor if you are getting any IP in Winbox, easy.
