PPPoE connection fails

Hello everyone,

I have bought about two months ago: 850Gx2 running 3.24 firmware. Since last week I update Packages to what’s show as current update: 6.35.4.
The trouble is that every 5 to 6 days before and after the update PPP daemon (probably) gets stuck and I lose Internet access:

  • ping to any public IP times out
  • tracert -d to any public IP shows only the internal IP then ****

From my workstation I can connect to the internal IP of the equipment and there on PPP → Interface and from there I can see only Tx activity but no Rx:

After I click on D (Disable) then E (Enable) it takes about 4-6 seconds and Internet becomes available.

I suppose I should enable some kind of logging and see what’s going on right? Any idea would be appreciated.

Seems there’re no ideas so far.
Can someone help me with a script enabling/disabling ppp interface every 48h?

You should enable pppoe logs. Then when problem appears generate a supout file and send it to support.
