Hello everyone,
I have a CCR 1036-12G-4S with ROS 6.4
The clients connect via pppoe with various profiles (PPP profiles with Rate Limit), some 7 mega, another 10 mega, another 16 mega, in download.
What happens is that ALL connections, both pppoe and pptp, regardless of the profile, go to download between 2 and 3 mega, not more.
With a profile without rate limit, and then out of queues, it go at 25x25 (downloadXupload)
I guess there is a problem with queue management, but do not know what.
Can you help?
thanks
ok, no one has any suggestions for me.
However, I have done some experiments: in queues / queue type I put everything in ethernet-default instead of only-hardware-queue and I modified the default-small queue size from 10 to 150 packets.
In this way, the bandwidth test of pppoe is much closer to the limits. (limit 512x5500 result 0,45 x4, 9) (limit 1200x10000 result 1,02 x8, 9)
What impact can have this configuration on the network?
My CCR handles 800 pppoe.
