We are running a site with only one sector - Ver 3.30. Very remote site with about 20 clients For the last week dude (3.4) is going crazy and showing clients ofline (ping and http down). Looking in mikrotik RB and all pppoe connections is still there. When we phone client he can brows the internet no problem. We went so far as to eliminate rb and to put second rb in to do pppoe. Changed the card from a R52H to xr5. But still dude tells us clients ofline. We cant ping the clients when showing down in the dude but client can brows or download mail. Then 5 minutes later sites show correct ( ping http up) and another Basestation goes down. Clients down shows in dudebut pppoe connections live and clients can brows. Link levels is ok and nobody complains that the cannot connect to internet. Close the dude and restart it all sites hold for approx 2 - 10 minutes and then clients go down. Its almost if the dude doesnt show what is going on at clients as they can still brows.
Could someone please point us in the right direction.
