Hi All, I know this has been covered in other ways, but im trying to keep things simple and low energy, I have a RB1100AH as a PPPOE server, and a Supermicro atom as a freeradius server, if the radius server fails is there a way of reverting back to the local PPPOE secrets rather than radius failover? Thanks in advance.
You must create an script to do it something like this (I’m not script ninja btw) .First must create the local pppoe accounts and keep it disble state then create a ping keepalive rule in netwatch “tools>netwatch” to the radius server ip, when the radius stops to work trigger a local rule enabling all local pppoe accounts you must use netwatch tool and also create a rule that do the reverse operation I mean disable again all the local accounts and kick the users in active conections to allow then relog in the radius server.
