This is correct idea. What problem do you have?
I need a guide step by step setup process because is the first time I make contact with this software.
I already created PPPoE by WinBox , but I’ll need to create two classes of dynamic IPs for each network and fail to do so. Can someone help me ?
What are the steps i need to go trought ?
I recommend to put the ASUS on the same network (192.168.88.x) and let the routerboard handle the DHCP.
Put the cable from the MikroTik on any LAN port of the ASUS and disable the DHCP server on the ASUS.
step by step guide
routerOS accepts IP and IP ranges in field. IF you want your entire subnet involved than the default field value would be 192.168.88.0/24. For using routerOS as a normal home router there arent many things involved but the more you read the wiki and the more you configure the more you can do with routerOS.
to create a dynamic ip range, create the ip range in pool, create the DHCP server for the interface with the IP pool and you’re set. You can even use ipv6 instead.
