PPPoE internet speed

I used to have hotspot with different profiles for rate limit (ex, 128k,256k,384k,512k).

I read somewhere that PPPoE use extra 2 bits for switching on and off. Do I need to increase the speed in PPPoE profiles by 25%.

to switch on/off what? PPPoE overhead is 8 bytes.

so Will user get the same speed as hotspot?

for 64k/900kbps tx rate limit, I uses speedtest.net and the same server

Ping time 81ms
download 0.84Mbps
upload 0.06Mbps

hotspot case
Ping time 85ms
download 0.90Mbps
upload 0.04Mbps

speed should be the same if queues and queue types are identical. There are also other factors that may influence speed.
