I have a problem with the client connecting, there is no internet access and the log information is like the picture and in the PPPoE interface the client does not get an IP address.
Hi, I am experiencing a very similar issue on a CCR2216 with around 1,300 PPPoE sessions.
During the event, many clients disconnect and then receive “PPPoE user is already active” when trying to reconnect. Some dynamic PPPoE interfaces remain visible without an IP address or traffic, apparently as stale sessions.
The WAN link and OLTs remain up, and I do not see sustained high CPU usage, although there may be a short CPU spike during the reconnection wave.
Did you ever find the root cause or a reliable workaround? Was it related to RouterOS, keepalive timeout, RADIUS, the access network, or session cleanup?
I am currently collecting logs and monitoring CPU per core during the event.
