Instead of bumping, give more details, as outlined here: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/getting-the-most-out-of-this-forum/40983/1
Giving more information, your configuration output and network diagram, will help getting answers more quickly.
It doesn’t look like a problem on RouterOS, since NAT on remote device can’t affect performance on RouterOS.
Either cannopy CPU is so slow that it can’t handle traffic you are sending or some other problems on that device.
Hi, i also use Canopy, at now not with pppoe.
Do you have the same problem also with Canopy release 11.01 ? Just to known, so i could test in my lab, what’s the most bandwidth you can reach with this pppoe problem ? mega ?
Looks like Canopy 2x problem with pppoe, On session status do you see that 2x is up ? I will try in lab and i will say you something.
Thanks for info!
I mean that as you known with Canopy 1x you could go up to 7 Mbps with 2x running up to 14 Mbps, it look like a bug, 2x in your photo is running but Canopy doesn’t not go beyond 1x limits.. “(4,2 + 1,6) < 7” It is just a hypothesis.
I will try.
Hi,
i will speak about this to our cambium contact, it’s not a pppoe server problem, or rf session.
With release 11.2 and nat enable with pppoe you can’t go over 1x limits ( i known that if you are in bridge and or with static ip and so..), but with nat and pppoe enable i’ve seen 4/5 Mbits down 2/3 Mbits up.
I’ve try with ap advantage 11.2, and sm 10.
If on sm you use firmware 11.01 is quite good .
If on sm you use firmware 10.05 is better (like static ip results).
Hope this will help you ![]()
