PPPoE not releasing connections.

In version 2.9.14 we started noticing the the PPPoE-Server is not releasing connections properly.

1st; We have one-session-per-host=yes, however we sometimes see more than one login from a client. All our clients use D-Link routers, so the MAC address never changes.

2nd; We have session-timeout=1d in our PPP Profile, yet we see a few connections stay in our active list for as long as 3 days. We also cannot remove them from the command line at either “/ppp active” or “/interface pppoe-server”

I believe you need to set your “keep-alive timeout” value to around 10 to 20 secs. Although, I would think that the “one-session-per-host=yes” would also prevent multiple logins from same mac address.
