We tried to deploy a new Cisco 2960GS switch at the weekend to replace our 3560 however onc in place the 1GB fibre service that inter-connects us the the regional DSl network would not authenticate our PPPoE customers, it stated no sessionid and it seemed not to be passing through the username and passwords from the users to be authenticated. We configured the port on the 2960 exactly the same as on the 3560 but still no luck. Not sure if this is a Mikrotik issue or an issue with the Cisco 2960, I think it’s likely to do with the 2960 but unsure of where to look.
