For a long time now, I’ve had a RouterBoard 112 + R52 on my roof connecting to my WISP. The PPPoE client dials out on the WLAN interface and everything has always worked just fine.
I have now decided to get an ADSL line in addition to my wireless link. I’ve therefore bought myself an RB500 which I want to dial both the Wireless PPPoE and the ADSL PPPoE. The ADSL bit isn’t a problem, but I am not having any luck getting the PPPoE client on the RB500 to dial the WLAN interface on the RB112.
I thought that the way to do this would be to create an EOiP Tunnel between the two RouterBoards which I have done successfully. I can MAC Ping each end of the tunnel from the other. I then bridged the EOiP Tunnel and the WLAN interface on the RB112, and created the PPPoE client to dial out on the EOiP Tunnel interface on the RB500. No luck.
Firstly, is what I am trying to do actually possible? And if possible, what am I doing wrong?
