PPPOE over vlan

Hi all,

i have two routers

1 - main office router
2 - barn router

The main office router issues DHCP and has the main broadband connection.

The barn router is just running as a wireless ap with all the ports in a bridge. It’s linked back to the main office router with a wireless bridge.

Due to a complex reason, the barn has a backup connection installed into that building.

I attempted to add a VLAN on both routers and dial the PPPoE session from the main office router but failed.

Is this possible?

PPPoE runs just fine over VLAN … if VLANs are configured properly.
