I have a pppoe access concentrator located within my border router. I have a wireless link from that border router out to a Mikrotik RB433 with an SR5 card making one end of the wireless link back to the border router/pppoe server. The other wireless card in the RB433 is an SR9 card as an access point. The two wireless cards in the RB433, i.e., sr5 and sr9 are bridged in the RB433 with no friewall or bridge rules of any kind on the RB433. I am trying to use pppoe on the end users that are connected to the RB433’s SR9 AP and the pppoe will not pass through to the pppoe server. Static IP addresses pass and work perfectly. Anyone have any ideas as to what I am missing?
Come on folks! There has to be someone on here intelligent and knowlegeable enough about MikroTik and Bridging to answer my question!
wds? EoIP? VPLS?
