It’s really insane situation, after 2 weeks of searching it via google i’ll try here.
So I want to change simple queues to quee tree, and sfq to pcq, why? I have troubles with sq, it loses sometimes some per user bandwidth, and it’s a big mess.
I have 3 pppoe concentrators on three interfaces, one wan, and masquerade. I wanted to make 3 different queues 512/1m/3m and upload 256/512/512. I’ve created ( like milion times ), pcq queue types, for upload and download, i’ve created adress list with ip’s, and i’ve marked the packet ( forward, postrouting, prerouting ), and everytime there is a problem.
If I use queue tree and a interface as a parent ( lan or wan ), it doesn’t work good - because It uses pcq rate as a limit to all users at once, not as a limit per one user ( I hope i’ve explained well ), but - i’ve found somewhere that’s normal when I use masquerade - So i’ve tried to use global in and global out - If I do so, on the download queue and upload queue i’ve got the same values, those values are upload+download. Maybe there’s no option to use pcq with pppoe and masquerade? I don’t know, If anyone would be so nice and help me, it would be great.
