PPPoE problem with Rate-limit from default profile

Hi all,

I have problem with rate limiting in PPPoE sessions.

When I define Rate-Limit in radius table, after connected to PPPoE server, simple queue is created with Limit-at=Rate-Limit form radius. It is correct.

When I do not define Rate-limit attribute on radius server and I would like to use rate-limit from default profile defined on MT, this rate limit is not applied to simple queue.

Can you confirm that there is a problem? Or am I wrong?

Here is my default configuration:

[admin@APDC] interface pppoe-server server> print
Flags: X - disabled
0 service-name=“testing” interface=ether2 max-mtu=1500 max-mru=1500
authentication=pap,chap,mschap1,mschap2 keepalive-timeout=disabled
one-session-per-host=yes max-sessions=0 default-profile=PPPoE-SOHO

[admin@APDC] ppp profile> print
Flags: * - default
0 * name=“PPPoE-SOHO” local-address=192.168.9.1 remote-address=PPPoE-pool1
idle-timeout=1h use-compression=yes use-vj-compression=no
use-encryption=yes only-one=yes change-tcp-mss=yes rate-limit=64000
incoming-filter=“” dns-server=121.12.31.198

[admin@APDC] queue simple> print
Flags: X - disabled, I - invalid, D - dynamic
0 D name=“” dst-address=0.0.0.0/0 interface=
parent=none priority=8 queue=default/default limit-at=0/0 max-limit=0/0
total-queue=default

You can see in pppoe server defined default profile, in default profile rate limit and in actual simple queue no limit-at defined.

Really nobody noticed the same problem?

I have same problem. When I want to use MT rate-limit default values for pppoe, it does not work. A radius pppoe user connects and get 0 values instead of default values. Unless a user is from MT database. then he gets default values otherwise if u have outside database no way so far.
