PPPOE Problem

hi,

long time i use pppoe on mikrotik and have no problem since a week, a user connecting and disconnection or something like that

how can i stop such a user, i am so exhausted.

You could block traffic from that MAC address (which does not look like being a legitimate MAC address).
How you could block it depends on your network setup (i.e. if using the bridge firewall would be a possibility, for example).

That MAC address prefix is registered to XEROX corporation according to

http://www.coffer.com/mac_find/

I know - but this looks to “clean” a MAC address to be coincidence… :wink:

There is ONLY ONE bit set in that whole mac address…

Looks pretty clean to me also…
