pppoe providing time service ip?

When a client connects using ppoe they get there ip, and primary and secondary dns numbers. Is there a way for them to pull the ip address to a time server as well? (this helps in cordinationg logs and trouble shooting client end problems)

At the moment I am manually entering a time server ip into each one of the clients.

by standard, no.
one solution devised by cisco or microsoft, i forget.
dhcp inform messages, clients send dhcp inform requests to nas which replies with the configured attributes. i’ve asked if they had implemented it - they hadnt. this should get on the todo list.
