PPPoE Rate Limiting Not Working for Upload

Hello,

The rate limiting configured in PPP-Profiles is working for download but not for upload. When I view the ‘simple queue’ for a particular PPPoE session, the statistics show download stats but no upload stats. The download is shaped exactly to the value I set but the upload is wide open. I have tried using bridge and a single port (ether2) for PPPoE server and DHCP server but no luck. I have seen other forum topics citing this problem but no solution.

What is the target of one of these simple queues set to? (interface name, IP address, etc?)

If it’s the IP address and you have NAT in play, then that could be a reason.
Or if you have fasttrack enabled, this could do it as well.

Target is the name of the PPPoE client interface. Fasttrack is disabled in firewall settings.
