I’ve tried searching for a solution/feature to allow PPPoE Relaying through my OpenVPN Client interface, but I’ve had no luck so far. People mentioned that you have to create a bridge to allow the PPPoE connection to be “relayed”, which is exactly what I’ve done on my friend’s D-Link U2640 by creating a Bridge WAN interface for 8/35 VCI to allow PPPoE Relaying.
Here’s my current setup can be seen here: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/solved-wan-bridging-nat-depending-on-vlan-id/33828/1 , only difference being that I now have an OpenVPN Client interface too, through which I want to allow PPPoE Relaying from my Bridge-Local interface. I’m already doing NAT on that OpenVPN Client interface and it’s configured as my default route AND I can dial PPPoE connections via it already.
I’m not sure how to proceed here or if its even possible to allow PPPoE Relaying?
Help would be appreciated, even if the answer would be that its not possible. If you’d like me to post a diagram of my current setup OR the ROS settings, I’d post them too ![]()
