I have a 750GL RouterBOARD replacing the Speedport W 921 V, since I need to setup an local nameserver. The speedport has an integrated VOIP modem providing an S0 port to connect my ISDN phone system, but I can only establish an internet connection using PPPoE with an ISP . I don’t know what is wrong with these guys, why they disabled DHCP as an option.
So I configures ethernet port 5 as an PPPoE server, which works fine if I connect with my laptop, but the Speedport always shows an error:
Verbindung fehlgeschlagen (R56-0002 - Es ist ein technischer Fehler aufgetreten).
Connection failed (R56-0002 - technical malfunction)
I’m sorry, there is no real information of its meaning.
In the system log there is no information connected to this very issue, for some reason I get this warning, which is strange since it is behind the firewall of the RouterBOARD.
DoS(Denial of Service) Angriff IP Spoofing wurde entdeckt. (FW101)
DoS(Denial of Service) Attack IP Spoofing recognized. (FW101)
I can only enter
ISP
username
password
static/dynamic IP
static/dynamic DNS
MTU (I put in 1480 as in the pppoe server settings)
into the Speedport.
I found some additional settings for the PPPoE Client configuration:
VCI: 32
VPI: 1
Encapsulating Type: LLC/SNAP
MTU: 1442
PCR/SCR/MBS: 0
Did some try something similar and can help me?
