Hey guys! I need help configuring a MikroTik with a PPPoE connection. How would I go from the default DHCP configuration to connecting to my ISP with a PPPoE configuration?
You have to use the CLI to change the MAC.
set [ find default-name=ether1 ] mac-address=00:00:00:00:00:00 name=1WAN0097140MID2
I copied this from a RB450G live.

a pppoe client? You need to set it up under the PPP section on the interface tab, click the + sign and under the drop down select PPPoE client. I havent done it enough to know it right off hand but i know the interface must be the one you have configured as your wan port, dialout must have your login the isp gave you, and the right authentication method must be selected, i believe by default they’re all checked.
