I’m having trouble here using routeros as a PPPOE client.
When I setup the RB as a PPPOE client to my internet provider I get a 6 Mbit download speed. When I use a Windows PPPOE or Mac OS PPPOE client I get a 12MBit download speed. I’m using a Sagem VDSL2+ modem in all cases.
What could be the cause of this ? Why the PPPOE client on the RB only gets half the speed of the other PPPOE clients ? I’m using a RB 493AH and when I look at the resources it looks like the routerboard is sleeping. CPU peeks only to 5% or so.
