hi ppl. i have some problem with mikrotik pppoe server. when i create one user in pppoe secrets, and limit speed on 1mbps, that limit doesn’t work same thing is when i create some user in user manager. i get some dinamic queue with that speed, but i can download faster. what’s wrong here? there is picture, and there u can see that i have pppoe client with speed=1mbps, i have dinamic queue for those user with max limit=1mbps, but i can download almost 1,8mbps. how is that posible?

Is some other queue higher up is grabbing the traffic first? Cease all other traffic but run across the PPPoE link, and watch counters for the queues. Is a different one increasing? Is the dynamic queue being hit at all? It’s hard to tell from your picture because the download window is obscuring those columns.
zelan, “Me, too” posts are rarely useful unless you post details. Please post the details of your configuration. FWIW, I just configured a network in my lab with user manager as the auth server, speed limits of 256k/256k, pppoe server running 3.30 and another at 4.3. It works exactly as it should. If yours is broken, it is NOT because MT is broken. That is why details are needed.

i had some queue higher up, and that was problem. i solved my problem. thanks anyway
