PPPoE TCP MSS

Hi,

I just wondering, tcp-mss should be set out or in PPPoE Client? Because some ISP said that tcp-mss should be set on both direction, but some ISP said that tcp-mss should be set on out interface only. So what is the actual direction for tcp-mss for the PPPoE Client interface?

It depends in which direction traffic flows. 1460 mtu/mru is a good default on Tik.
