You can if you use RADIUS authentication and pass on the required attributes. Look up the “RADIUS client” on the Mikrotik wiki.

You just add ‘use-radius=yes’ to the PPP server.
As far as RADIUS configuration goes, that depends on what RADIUS server you use. You should probably ask that community for help first. The wiki for the RADIUS client shows what attributes you’d configure your RADIUS server to pass on.

i m using user manager… if my mt get restart .. all settings where unsaved? or settings will not change?
Be careful when using external RADIUS. There is a problem with MT AAA that does not send correct usage statistics to the RADIUS during unknown conditions. I have referenced this in several topics and have asked MT for updates on this problem without any answers. It exists and is hard to find, but for the moment all of our RADIUS usage statistics are useless until MT fixes this.
I cannot verify if this is the same as UserManager. Ours is only with FreeRADIUS.
