hello every one i have a pppoe connection on port 1 and the cable is commnig from sxt i want to add the ip address of the sxt to port 1 so i can access it from the router without unplugging the cable and put it in pc please help i can do it in tplink router just by adding a secondary connection to.the pppoe and add the sxt ip but in mikrotik its to difficult anyone can help
Assuming that the SXT already has an IP address which you can access if you connect the PC directly to it, attach the same IP configuration you use on the PC to ether1 of the router, and that will be it.
It is possible to attach a pppoe client and direct IP configuration to the same interface. The only issue I can see would be if the LAN subnet on the SXT and the LAN subnet of the other router are currently the same, which would require to change one of them.
