Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me with the following problem.
Im trying to dail an pppoe connection from my mikrotik router. (dailing into an bridge modem) But I stil need to connect to the modem’s network.
Setup is as follow: Modem: 192.168.1.1 set as dhcp server.
Microtik router: dhcp server ->dhcp client to home network 192.168.2.0/24 (I want to split my home and work ip’s)
Currently Im using the modem internet to connect to internet, I also connect to some services on the 192.168.1.0/24 network example: cctv and remote to the server.
Things has change:
i want to connect from my house to the modem with a different isp. i already set the modem to half bridge. i can dail a pppoe connection, but cant connect the the internet thru it. still using the 192.168.1.1 connection. i also need to connect the servers on the 192.168.1.0/24 network.
Can someone please help me. I don’t have a lot of experience with the microtik brand. i know there is routing and all involved, but don’t have a clue on how!
