I have a pair of RB750Gs that I’m trying to set up a L2 bridge between sites, one fixed, one mobile.
I’ve found several guides on the exact config, I have configured, tested, reconfigured, reset to defaults, tried again multiple times, still not working properly.
The problem I see right now is when I set the mrru, which should enable mlppp on the single connection, fragment packets and reassemble them on the other end.. its not working. Its changing the mtu and mru of the pptp interface to the same value as the mrru.
I’m trying to set this up for a customer that needs L2 connectivity to a server on the fixed end from various remote locations, hence the pptp as it will traverse NAT without issue in most situations.
I also made an attempt at EoIP in the PPTP tunnel without much luck.
I must be doing something wrong? I’ll greatly appreciate any help and I’m willing to give access to anyone willing to help out as this is not a production system (yet)
