PPTP client IP reachability issue

Hi,

I’m using PPTP server in 450G router board and client is connecting through win-xp dialer from remote location with different ISP. IN server i have given PPTP-POOL 172.16.0.1-172.16.0.254 and when client is getting connected i’m able to ping client IP(172.16.0.1-172.16.0.254 ) which is getting released from my server. But when i’m changing the pool from 172.16.0.1-172.16.0.254 to 10.20.255.1-10.20.255.254 everyhting is ok client is able to connect to my server he is getting IP address from 10.20.255.1-10.20.255.254 but i’m not able to ping client IP. I don’t know whats going wrong, can any one help me what could be issue and give me a solution.

 tags. Without that my best guess would be that "you have something wrong in your configuration".

Hi,

As you asked please find the details in the attached file.

In my router 5th port is wan port and 3rd port is LAN port with IP address 10.20.7.254/16

In the client end its single system connected through USB data card with win-xp dialer.
