I need help, please. I did setup VPN, I enabled IP Cloud on PPTP Server side. If I try that DDNS address from outside it is working, I can assess my router remotely etc. But, if I put that 12345678etc.sn.mynetname.net into “Connect to” field instead of static IP (public IP) I’m not able to connect to PPTP Server. Remove that address and put public ip (142.11.22.33 for example) my VPN works fine. Please help or advise. Thanks in advance
If the client connects to IP and doesn’t want to connect to url than it probably cannot resolve the name to IP or urls are not supported in dst address.
What client do you use to connect to vpn?
I’m using mikrotik pptp client.
One more thing..I have to problem connection Windows, Mac, iPhone or iPad vpn with name instead of IP. I only have problem connection Mikrotik VPN Client (PPTP) with name.

At least you should provide the ros version. Maybe you have old one. Such functionality was added quite recently.
On Mikrotik from where you try to connect, try the in terminal if that URL is solved correctly.

Both routers are running RouterOS v6.33. I have no problem connecting from PC or Mac or even iPhone/iPad. I’m using OpenDNS 208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220 as my Dynamic Servers. My DNS server is my VPN Server address 192.168.3.1.

You did the right settings in IP > DNS on Mikrotik router?
Run in terminal in your Mikrotik router “ping url.xx” where url.xx is URL address of your PPTP server to see if is resolved correctly.
I am getting this error: “invalid value for argument address” but I think I just have to release DHCP client. I have no access to the router right now so will do it tomorrow but I think it will work. Thanks 
Un update…After I release DHCP client it did not work. So, I put OpenDns server IP under DNS server (previously it was address of my router) and it is working now.
