Hello all
I’ve previously dialed to my ISP via PPPoE and had a PPTP client for remote access which worked perfectly.
My connection to ISP is now through a DHCP client as they use DHCP.
I can now not access the router remotely via PPTP.
Is there a different way to set up PPTP for use with internet that uses DHCP?
Thanks, ZSam
NO, but if not work, or you get private IP by DHCP or your ISP block pptp (block GRE protocol)
Thank you.
My ISP was handing me a Private IP (Double NAT) on their network. Requested a public IP/non-double NAT and the problem was solved - No changes to PPTP setup required.
